I'm sure there's something similar here aswell. Though, I'm sure the government wont chip in at all. Why it is so expencive to die is what I want to know

The buying or renting of the ground, and the costs of the undertaker are the bulk of the costs here. Crematoria are horribly expensive too here.

There are now budget funerals though, with graves for more than one person. Somehow to be buried in a crowd isn't appealing for me. I avoid them while alive, being in one when dead somehow is a horrible thought.
