ok so you are going to write an email to some cybersitter and tell them someone make a comment about a kid a year and a half ago, and you have no proof and the website doesn’t exist anymore. And the usa does not have obscenity laws and police do not have jurisdiction over the internet. What do you think is going to happen ?

Obscenity/pornography/indecency laws exist in all 50 states and most cities and towns.  If they didn't people would be walking down Bourbon Street wearing nothing but a g-string and angel wings (on days other than Mardi Gras.)  And yes, I am aware that there were prostitutes who were so desperate for money in the early 1900's in Storyville that they would have sex in the street, but that's illegal now.

The police may or may not have jurisdiction over the internet, but they have been successful in arresting and having individuals prosecuted and convicted for having illegal sexual content received over the internet.  I'm sure you're aware of the sting operations they set up to catch pedophiles.   

Thank you for the concern, lady. But that would only  be an issue if he actually posted child porn or broke the law. He made a really really bad joke over a year ago, and when the "crime" was initially reported the cops didn't care. They don't even have screenshots of it, and the website doesn't exist anymore. He will be fine

He called my phone and asked to speak to him. Also after the initial phone call he texted him on his phone the next day asking if he had a hangover. Did you ask him why it was more like 10 phone calls ? All through the month of august ? some that lasted almost an hour? One time my friend Chris even got on the phone and taunted him with a silly accent for like 20 minutes. Why didn't he ever hang up ? As soon as Rage told me to buzz off I did and never texted him again.

I am not replying to your pm eris,  and i  can only repeat what i have said already.  Out of respect for odeon i will not discuss the way your boyfriend posted about my son any more than  necessary.  I have already said what the contents were and that description matches with the information i gave to police.  I am baffled why you want to bring as much cp stuff as you can to this board.  This board  had nothing to do with it.

You are angry one minute that i got him into trouble but the next minute assure people that complaints will result in no action.

You claim that you weren't with him in April when the post was made but your pm suggests you know all he did was make a joke about my son and MLA.  How can you know if you weren't with him until June.  I guess you meant to say "he told me blah blah" which is not the same thing.

I will give you one concession, that is to clarify BC did not use the word 'rape'.  He used 'penetration'.  He said exactly what i posted  yesterday which i am not going over again.  I said 'rape'.   So, does that put him in a better light?

I was going to say tell BC to 'man up' and stop playing the victim but i suspect i am talking to him already.   Threads do seem to wander down a certain path when he is around.

All i ever wanted was the police to ruffle a few feathers.  I  already said i did not  bother to persue it.  It sounds like it worked.  Probably will be monitoring for a while. 

Lastly, i couldn't give a rat's ass if you judge my actions to be unfair.  It is  human nature to protect the ones we care  about and defend them.    Looking back, a year later i feel my actions were correct.   Actually i had no choice.  It goes with the territory of being a parent.

1. I do not condone what he said and I do not defend his remarks at all. They were completely out of line. But I think it was totally rediculous to call the fucking cops

Do y'all want to know HOW I know the police can't do anything

About a year or so ago this guy i dated for two weeks and dropped started sending me death threats on Facebook. He seriously told me to slit my wrists and die. He also threatened to burn my house down. He lives in my town and knows where I live so i called the police. Guess what they said ? They said there is nothin they can do. First off, he can claim it was another person who wrote it using his account. Second, he can say that I deleted parts of his message making it look bad on him. And third, and most importantly, the internet does not have a "place". In the US, cops can only do stuff in their "place" This means that if a cop is in a different state and he sees a murderer all he can do is contact the police in that state. Only the FBI doesn't have to follow jurisdiction rules, and belive me, the FBI doesn't give a shit. The cop told me all I could do is file civil harassment charges on him and take him to court, but it probably wouldn't fly because he would just say it wasn't him and in the United States the burden of proof is on the plaintif.

Like I said before, the cops never even contacted him. Bruce told him what you did. So go ahead and try to contact the cops. Think about it. What proof do you have ? They will probably think you have some vendetta.
