Bar soap or pump soap....which do you use?

Pump soap is so much more hygienic pleasing to me I don't know how I ever used bar soap.
Misunderstood.

Pump soap. Can't stand bar soap.

Pump for washing hands, bar in the shower, I am stuck on this one scent/type of soap and you can only get it in a bar.

 Pump for sinks.

Liquid, pouring bottle in the shower. I have become accustomed to the wild, easily lathering suds available from a huge bottle of very lightly scented liquid soap.

I also use a soft cloth for certain places and a really stiff luffa for scrubbing most of my body.  A local farm has a substantial bog where they grow all kinds of tropical cucurbits during the summer, including fresh luffa sponges. Then as late summer approaches, the blueberries are ready. I support them!!

Use the shampoo for everything in shower. Pumps at the sinks; those have dish soap.

Bar in the shower pump in the sink. I also have near the sink which I use even more is  the pump container of Fast Orange hand cleaner-degreaser as my hands get very dirty. Although I have bar soap out by the hose and in my van for while at work also.  I really like the foaming soap it looks like regular pump soap but comes out all foamy

to make the foamy soap, fill the container about 1/2 - 2/3 full with water, then add whatever dishwashing liquid soap you'd like to use.  Put the top back on and shake it to mix.  Don't do this with shampoo as it will clog the pump.  I usually do 1/2 and 1/2.  Water in first so it won't bubble up when you add the soap.

I use pumps, usually filled with slightly watered-down dishwashing soap.

I grew up with bar soap.  My mother saved scraps of bar soap in a jar, intending to melt them together
to make a big new bar.  Ewww.  Finally my brother threw away the scraps, they were all dried-out and brown.  :P

Getting kids is what made me transfer to pump soap. The wet bars, blocking the drain, after creative usage, and getting all gooey from the surplus of water was what grossed me out. When the paper-mash era started, with toilet paper added to the mixture, it was really beyond what I could bear.
