I felt a pain in my chest yesterday, phoned them, and they told me to come in right away. I was hooked up to a machine  that monitored my heart for the night and most of today, they drew blood from me about half a dozen times and I was subjected to a stress test to see if my heart would cause me grief.

It didn't.

As far as they can tell, the pain was muscular and a large part was stress made worse by my asthma. I'm fine and back home.

Good to hear that.  For the stress I recommend you go out and get some good beer and relax. :green:

Glad to hear it wasn't serious.  As the experts said (Parts included), relax and have a beer and chips.

Have to admit it's scary, though. I watch far too much House to be comfortable in a hospital.

Hospitals are far too white for me to feel comfortable in a hospital.

Today, I stayed home from work over at my partner's house (while he went to work). I've been waiting for a package delivery which only just came. In the meantime, I slept in till 8:30am, got up, had some cereal for breakfast, watched an episode from the second season of Lie to Me, and then have been cleaning the house since (straightened his office, did the laundry, straightened the bathroom, put away some books from a box he hadn't gotten to you, counted coins and put them in their wrappers, and am now sitting down to a late lunch. Partner should be home within the next hour, and then he'll start putting together his Bowflex that got delivered today.

This evening I'd like to go to Michael's and pick up some faux-flowers for some vases I got for the kitchen.
Flibbit.

Hey, I see you're wearing the red high boots McCalavera gave you yesterday/two days ago. :P

Yes, I was hoping you would reward my fashion sense with a big plate of delicious leftovers!

That's scary.   I'm glad that it turned out to be a muscular pain made worse by stress and asthma and that you're OK now.

BTW, I'm doing :laundry:

Bought a Black and Decker Automatic Jar Opener.  Retails for over $50 on the net, but got it for $6.50 at the thrift store.

(The Princess Royal has Cerebral Palsy and this will enable her to open jars.  Researched the product since I'd never heard of it and it's gotten rave reviews.)

Relaxed by watching the TV. Need to buy some beer tomorrow but I couldn't be arsed today.
