Tried to imagine Odeon mowing a lawn.    :-\

But...? :zoinks:

You seem so intellectual and sophisticated to be doing that.

We have a very sophisticated lawn. :P

Perhaps  your lawn needs a bit more sophistication since one of it's inhabitants bit you.

That bug wasn't sophisticated at all, I can tell you that much. :zoinks:

Saw the consultant for the first time after my op today, I haven't seen anyone since my op so I have no idea how it went or anything. He showed me some pics they took whilst they were working away and there was so much damage, he said it was the worst he'd seen. The cartlidge that hadn't been worn away and dispensed all around my knee by dislocations had formed a huge spike on the back of my kneecap which explains why I felt a tearing sensation when it'd pop out. He said a lot of other stuff too about my quadriceps on one side being non-existant due to damage and how my kneecap would come off completely when it dislocates. He said a lot really. Then I saw a nurse who removed my bandages and sterry strips from my wounds and then I went for a carvery with my mum. After that I had a physio appointment and managed to bend my knee for the first time, managed to get up to 49 degrees but boy did it hurt. Then I walked back to the car and fell over, cried, and eventually got home to bed.

Then after all that, I posted a load of whiney wank on the internet about my day that nobody gives a shit about really. That's about it. :zoinks:

And another

Could they explain the why of your horrible pains now and then?

I gave blood today, got a Harry Potter Blood Donor T-shirt and a free ticket to the movie.  Went to Whole Foods, bought some TVP, sea salt and oat bran.

In short: The consultant said it'd hurt a lot more because it was a far bigger operation than the last time it was done on the other knee.

In long: There was a lot more mess to clean up and they had to shave off a lot of bone and cartlidge, and also they had to replace some muscles. They had to change my anatomy a lot too, a lot of bones were in the wrong place because of dislocations and also the way I was born.

The pain'll die down soon hopefully :P

Done the usual things but also played Monopoly and made some 3D cards with my little niece (of 9). She's one creative kiddo and *coughs* beat me at mentioned board game.

Couldn't be arsed to cook rice for the beans, so I went to the Chinese take out for it.  I tripped in the parking lot and banged up my right side pretty badly, but no lasting injuries.

They could have had the boy wizard *in* a Dracula film. As his first victim. :zoinks:

I decided that there are 2 types of people:  Harry Potter fans and poor, unfortunate, unenlightened, unsophisticated, simpletons.

As HP isn't a narcissist, I take it he belongs to the second group?

Since he becomes an Auror, he has many personality traits to help him in the battle against evil.

(Doesn't make too much sense, but the pain meds I took for the fall are taking effect and my mind is a bit dull right now.  And my typing is shot to hell.)

Downtown any metropolis is awesome. Always wanted the experience of laying in the middle of the street to gaze up while surrounded by skyscrapers.
