My state, pa,  really isnt a state, it is a commonwealth and we have very very serious drinking laws. Bars have to close at 2, nothing is sold on Sundays, and liquor can only be obtained in "state stores". You have to buy beer/liquor at bars, or stores specifically labeled as beer/state stores. there is nothing at convenience or grocery stores without special license that is so hard to obtain most places dont bother. I think it has something to do with the "blue laws". There are a lot of Amish and religious people here...

Right across the border in WV, you can get jack daniels at the drug store at 4 am if you want :D

THANK G_D FOR NEW ORLEANS.  We're 24/7/365 state wide.  There's a drive through daquiri shop 3 minutes from my house.  Any alcohol available at any place with a liquor licenes - bar, restaurant, convenience store, grocery store, drug store, drive through daquiri shop.  In fact when my father was hospitalized back in the 90's he was allowed 2 drinks a day under doctor's orders.  (But he was an alcoholic and the doctor didn't want complications from the auto accident.  Illogical I know, but that's New Orleans.

I am totally dragging EBM on a roadtrip to New Orleans so I can use a drive thru daquiri shop.  :2thumbsup:

Fed the monkeys
Chatted with mother in law
Took the oldest to the hospital
Loved driving downtown (been awhile since I've been there)
Got on well with the ex considering
Hit rush hour on the way home and didn't care. Brain wandered while driving at a snails pace from south to north
Came up to my room to try and unwind while leaving monkeyboy to his own devices to do the same
monkeygirl is not at home. Either out with her Granny or her Dad. Not sure which.

Yeah, I am kind of stuck writing the introduction. I have written most of the method and hope to write the results section tomorrow when I go to uni (my computer won't load the SPSS data because I don't have the right version any more).

Spent the day installing stuff, mostly, with a few meetings squeezed in between.

Fed the family b'fast and lunch.
Made dr. appt for PR today
cleaned some in kitchen and washed dishes
grocery store

Gee, it doesn't sound like much and now I'm embarrassed about it.

Edit - cut up some seasoning for beans and mashed some ripe bananas and put both the items in the freezer.

Usual morning snuggles with monkeygirl before school
Tidied up the kitchen
Talked to my Dad
Made lunch for monkeyboy
Took him to trampoline and cheered him on during relay races
Good chat with 3 other homeschooling Mum's who are really cool
Ran some errands
Decided to get Taco Bell for an early dinner because there's no groceries and it's the ex's turn to shop and I have to be cheap this week
Currently curled up with Destiny :kitten: and thankful it's nearly bedtime

Less than I wanted, more than I planned.

Also spent the evening at the school of the youngest. History project of all classes. Was organised well.
In the end I found myself folding mice out of handkerchiefs in a Kindergarten class.

Escorted my dog around the garden while she stuck her nose down mouse burrows and annoyed the birds that nest in the bushes.  She likes to have me by her side when she's patrolling, and if I leave and go indoors, she comes looking for me after a minute or two, and tries to entice me back outside.

Don't be embarrassed, a nice day puttering around at home is good too!  What kind of seasonings did you make for the beans?   :orly:

Hardly anything. And it took a real effort to do that little bit.   :violin:

Same here.  It's warm and humid where I live, and the earlier arrival of daylight is throwing off my sleep cycle.  :violin:
