Got up at 6:15, 6:30 and 7:00 to get daughter dressed for church so she could go with her Dad.  I've decided she needs some reinforcement in the Honor thy parents commandment.

You got up three different times? That's perseverance!

Can I send my youngest to you for training for a while?

Just had a Honour thy parent row with her.  :green:

Someone wrote a book titled Raising Children is Not for Cowards or some such.  Funny, when we were kids we thought that all you had to do as a parent was to say "No" and spoil whatever you wanted to have or to do.

At least you DO say no, instead of going along with everything the kids want.
I hear some parents believe in doing that because they want family time to be stress-free.  :facepalm2:

Yup, that's pretty much what I do now. :zoinks:

Watched five episodes of "In Treatment". Not bad.

Went to meet my son's new teacher, principal, and some other folks. I'm cautiously hopeful.
Worked.
Fed the kids.
Tried to fix my old laptop's sync problems. Ended up deciding to reinstall the whole bloody computer, which is what I'm doing now.

Weekly breakfast with a friend, took daughter shopping, watched TV and made phone calls.

I am exhausted. I walked about seven miles through a semi hilly area, saw a bunch of tiny waterfalls, fog in the lowlands and sun rays in the higher areas.

I am going to sleep well under the stars tonight. It will be quite chilly, low temperature should reach fifty. I have a good double set of sleeping bags that "zip together."  My wife and i should be able to keep quite warm.

Wasn't that the original problem?

*nods vigorously*

I think there is something very strange with the whole thing. I suspect an incompatibility introduced in the new Ubuntu Linux version that I used.
