Ooh, hasenpfeffer, delicious.  Mom would make it and we (Mom, sister and I) would eat it all.  Good thing Dad didn't care for it.

Not a lot. But I bought a light switch to replace a broken one with and fetched our little rabbit from the farm that took care of her while we were gone.

Hasenpfeffer, that's hare meat isn't it.

Hare does taste different from rabbit. I never was fond of the taste of either.

The people who enforce the messy yard rules.  They aren't that strict but I was pushing the limits on my back yard

Talking about scrap metal reminds me of the time I was auditing a junior college in the 1990's.  They had a manual drill press they inherited from the Arny after WW1 and an early jet along with a couple of small airplanes.  When I asked why they still had them rather than scrapping them they said they still used them for teaching purposes.  It was also neat to do a property inventory of the embalming room, which they also taught.
