I had a dream where things were trying to eat me, which started off with my brain attempting to fit the mythical basilisk into a biologically plausible framework.  My brain settled on a species of giant monitor lizard that looked a bit like a land-adapted moasaur and produced a sticky, yellow venom that it left lying in patches on the ground and strung between trees, which acted as a contact poison and killed or incapacitated any prey that got it on their skin.

After nearly getting eaten by the basilisk, I spent a while trying to avoid being eaten by a spinosaurus, and later by a pack of spinosaurus, and I was 'saved' by a meteroite impact that also nearly killed me.

Do you often have such vivid dreams, and remember them in so much detail?  :orly:

I used to get them up to a few times a week, but they've been quite rare for the past couple of years.  They usually happen when I get woken up too early and go back to sleep, which happened to me a couple of times this morning, and they're often influenced by things like a full bladder or overheating in bed, and they're more frequent when I'm stressed about things.  They can range in realism from looking and behaving like simple 3D computer games such as Doom, to fully realistic smell-the-breath-of-the-thing-that's-trying-to-eat-you affairs that take place in huge 3D landscapes with mountains, forests, lakes and rivers that stretch for kilometres, detailed interiors of buildings, exterior urban locations, or spaces that correspond to computer games that I've played, and they can range from being faithful reconstructions of locations, people and objects from my memory, to being completely invented from abstract concepts, but often have both remembered and invented elements to them.

Your dreams sound fantastic! Mine are vivid, but not like yours!  :orly:

I picked up my medication refill, worked from 9-5, and will soon be going to my evening job (6:30-9:45ish).  :asthing:

Sweated out clothing that is sticking to me.

I am not sure that I can remove them without destroying either the clothes or my happy mood.

One way or the other, I am headed for the pool, though.

I can not take a chance of being completely naked outside, so I am taking my shorts with me to the pool, along with a towel, just in case.

I am dumb enough to get in pointless arguments too. Have one going on now that no one will budge on.

Yea, I don't normally get bothered by them normally but it seems that he accused me of something that literally annoyed me that I just blew my fuse.

Yea, also the pointless argument was indeed about WP and how people complain how I said "everything seemed better when the mods were fired" but was meant to say it seemed better when there was less mods. It was an argument with a former mod.

But yea, I saw it as pointless because I'm just fed up of stupid WP dramas to the point where it just bores me.

They're often rather interesting and memorable.  Last night I dreamt that I was in a lecture hall with Richard Feynmann and Rachel Maddow giving the lecture and a class of navy cadets taking notes, which was pretty tame by my standards.

My dreams are pretty low-rent compared to yours. The other night I dreamed I was in a supermarket with some of my family members,
and we were all about 20 years younger than we are IRL.  :zoinks:

I explained abiogenesis to someone on Youtube and they actually understood and accepted my explanation.
