Adopted a tiny gray tabby kitten.

Any ideas what you're going to call it?

Nena, was named by my daughter and she spelled "Nena" her way. I'm afraid I'm going to step on Nena. She fits in the palm of my hand with only half her tale flopping over and she's faster than I am, but fearless of my deadly steps. Probably what will happen is that I will step a few pounds of my weight on her paw, she'll scream like a mini-banshee, just as I realize it, I'll stumble and break my leg trying to keep from hurting her. I don't step so lightly, these days. :-\

I stepped on my grandad's dog once, when he was visiting.  It ran under my foot just as it was coming down, and I had to let myself fall to keep from crushing it.  Later that day, the neighbour came around to say the dog was wondering back and forth across the road.  It was smaller than Scruffs, and had gotten out through a gap in the fence.  Stupid suicidal dog.

It was sunny today, and I woke up reasonably early, so I worked in the garden with just a pair of shorts on, planting some chives around the pond, moving some things round, planting a curry plant and sage in pots and sowed some seeds in trays in the greenhouse.  Then I came in and ate stuff while listening to a friend's problems and swapping pics and videos and things with her.

Downloaded anime music.
George:I'd say I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not. I excel at not giving a shit. Experience has taught me that interest begets expectation, and expectation beget disappointment, so the key to avoiding disappointment is to avoid interest. A equals B equals C Equals A, or whatever. I also don't have a lot of interest in being a good person or a bad person. From what I can tell, either way, you're screwed. Bad people are punished by society's laws, and good people are punished by Murphy's Law

Yeah.... fuck it, shit happens, and happens, and happens, and happens some more....it's getting figuratively long in the tooth at this point, though I am at least drinking plenty of water to offset the dehydrating effects of it.

Tried to write and debug some JScript. Didn't work. Was close to deleting it all.

Got Amber settled before and after track & field practice, cooked supper...spanish rice and chicken.  Which she doesn't care for, so she ate mozarella sticks, spaghetti with olive oil and wheat germ and a glass of vegetable juice.

Do a search for the most recently created files? It takes only seconds.
