Meanwhile in Canada...yesterday a new law came into effect that anyone growing as few as 6 plants gets an automatic 6 mos jail term.

One of the reasons Amendment 64 passed here was the massive amount of law enforcement resources that have been dedicated to arresting and incarcerating people for relatively minor marijuana offenses.  Another reason is that the revenue from taxing marijuana is earmarked for schools.
See and that makes perfect sense. I'm sitting here thinking how quickly the already over crowded jails will fill up with people committing minor offences when there's "bigger fish to fry" so to speak.

I'm thinking how funny it is that the Canadians are going to be more alert than we are.  :zoinks:

^  That song was one of my childhood favorites.  It put vivid pictures in my mind,
of the Rocky Mountains and the beauty of Colorado.  I still sometimes want to live there.  :)

John Denver was my mother's favorite

When I was a child, he and Olivia Newton-John were two of the most famous pop singers.
I said they should sing a duet!  My father warned me that sometimes two great voices
do not blend well, but the duet happened and I was right!  I love and miss the 70s.  :)
