Very, but, thats life in the Northeast!  All in all, I'd rather be here than in western NY STATE where areas got up 12 feet plus within a short time! (lake effect snow)

What amazed me was how quickly they dealt with the huge amount of lake effect snow in Western NY.   8)

Be glad you don't have storms that dump 1-2 feet of snow like in Maine.  Or storms that dump 3-6 feet in upstate NY.

No, we have a pitiful excuse for public services. Everything was contracted out for private tender under the Tories, so all we've ended up with is a lack of central planning, shoddy 'council' services and higher local taxes. The joy of market economics eh? :puke:

FUBAR, to a huge degree. The worst is the education service, our privatised schools board is one of the worst performing in the whole country.
