I had this book when I was 4-5 years old. It's typical Swedish 1970's pedagogics: Too much nudity Seems like Anglosaxon people find it upsetting still today.

I am not upset.  Or outraged.  Just find it an odd subject for a five year old to learn...I can think of lots of things kids need to learn... social skills, problem solving, understanding the world and other cultures,  road safety,  algebra,  geography,  sign language,  spelling etc etc  and they all would come before breast feeding!

When I was three and had a new baby brother, I stuck my ordinary baby doll to my breast over my shirt and I stuck the baby doll under my shirt when I pretended to be pregnant.  I don't see why you would need a special doll for this unless it latches on and that would be extremely creepy anyway.

IIRC, the world record for youngest pregnancy (aside from the medical oddities like a man carrying his own twin, technically pregnant from pre-birth of course) is 5yo. Although there was a paki that got pregnant not much older, 6ish. Uggh. What a disgusting thought. I HATE rapists. And child molesters? I have no problem breaking the face of a confirmed nonce. But doing an islamite is almost as abhorrent. Nasty little things breed like rats as it is.

When I was a child my friends and I would pretend to breastfeed our baby dolls. I thought it was funny. Some girls might want one. I had a doll you could put makeup on and take it off with hot and cold water. Lil Miss MAkeup and her sister doll where you could change the color of her clothing. Lil Miss Dress Up.

She does need to know so if she is in a situation like in the movie Blue Lagoon she will know what to do

  I must admit, I had a giant Barbie head, with styleable hair and a makeup kit, when I was 12.
  But I never EVER wanted a doll to make-believe breastfeed.  Never crossed my mind.
