I don't think she was even born when I bought most of my Beatles collection.

I doubt it and I expect that she would find the place extremely boring.

Thing is, I'm extremely proud of my Beatles collection. I have a few gems.

I am, too.

I don't have any real rarities, though. Just good sounding LPs with warmth, depth and body.

Most of mine still sound good, others I bought because they were rare enough to include in my collection, in spite of minor damage.

I do have a complete collection, including many duplicates, of black rainbow early releases. They are not particularly rare, except in pristine condition, but on a desirability scale (to a "completist" collector) many of them have monetary value.

I don't think that SH.tv would help much to determine value in that way. The place is peppered with completists, though.

You might enjoy to peruse their marketplace, but last I noticed, it was mostly SH remastered CD releases which changed hands, as it should be I suppose.

My collection is by no means complete--there are some singles I'd die for.

Do you know anything about old crank record players.  I have acquired a an Edison diamond disc record player and about 50 discs  from the twenties the springs are busted can they be rewound

Sorry, but I don't know much about them.

They are mechanical things though. Nothing can go wrong with them that can't be solved.

They can certainly be fixed. You just need to find the right artisan.

I am pretty good at mechanical things and furniture I never fixed a spring canister before tough.  They are an interesting player the Beta max of their day.  Incompatible with normal 78 hey ran at 80 the rival system it lasted about 14 years.  The records are about 3/8 of an inch thick and have a center of pressed wood

You have probably written about this before, DirtDawg, I am wondering why you are having trouble typing. I just read a post of yours that mentioned it.

I just get hyper sometimes.

Sorry.

I used to not post. I would only read, but I have become more relaxed with you guys. I will try harder to calm up when I can't see the mistakes.

It does not make sense to type shit that no one can understand.
