There's a petition to get Facebook to drop it. Actually I'm sure there's more than one.

It's kind of weird how the internet has turned into the land of competing petitions in the past couple years. I guess because they started working.

If it goes too far the internet will destroy itsself. Its used by people, and people like having at least one place they can be free. Take that last bastion of freedom away and just see what the fuck happens.

Define destroy. Somehow I think it's more likely that people would find a new place/way to be free than that anyone or anything would manage to destroy the internet.
