It was pretty funny being the unintentional cause, of someone at the department of education in Washing DC crying on the phone because my story was 'so inspirational' and 'not many with disablements have the gumption you have hold please' while she proceeded to blow her nose and boo-hew oh my gosh I laughed while the 'hold please; your call is very important to us' and saxophone elevator music was going...as the she proceeded to 'get it together' enough for me to get the information I needed and business done I needed done...

Would have loved to have been a fly on that government building wall

There are two parts to participating in online classes. One is the discussion board (25% of the grade) and the other is assignments (75% of the grade).

In the third week of classes one of my students messaged me. She's confused about why she's doing so badly in the class. She says she's been doing what she could but I'm not giving her any credit for her efforts and that I don't tell her what she did right or wrong. She wanted to know if there was anything she could do  to bring her grade up besides increase her participation on the discussion board.

I wrote back to her and said that if she started doing the assignments, that would help.
