Sorry for the confusion. Both my retirement check and The PR's government check are direct deposited. Mine on the first of the month and hers on the third of the month. Both may be deposited earlier depending on whether these days fall on a weekend or holiday.
I always try to have everything recurring directly deposited into our accounts. Only thing outside that thinking is any county or city tax refunds, over payments at the insurance company, refunds in general. I like to see that check for myself and I will not have to make another fucking phone call. They are more thankful for ME not having to call again than they know.
They recently fucked up our car insurance payment when my wife transferred over her new-ish car to the insurance company. They called a few days later (of course my wife goes into an immediate hysteria upon receiving the call from the insurance company, since she thought she was DONE WITH THAT SHIT for a while!! She fucking walked into their office and wrote them a god damn check!! We're DONE!)
Turned out that they did not properly calculate our discounts for having a second car insured and during the time we had three cars insured that was messed up as well AND they messed up with our having sixty thousand dollars worth of insured contents to our house.
They ended up, way after the call, going back seven years and finding how they could have saved us money on premiums over that period and, since there were no claims during that time, the insurance company sent us a refund check for how much they overcharged us over that period.
Indiana state regulations hold insurance companies on a short leash. You want to operate your scam in THIS state, you will do so our way. LOL
I told them to write us a check. It all added up to be over sixteen hundred dollars, just because my wife made them look at our account again and give us THE BEST DEAL possible on this expensive car she just bought.
