Tomorrow I will go to work and kick ass again!  Specifically, I will bake a new batch of mini-birthday cakes
to freeze.  :cake:   We already have enough to last the rest of the month, but I'll have the opportunity to
do this job tomorrow, so I'm on it!  It really does pay to be proactive, and should get me a good evaluation.  8)

They may be expecting more of you in the future, without paying you more.  :-\

I already make a very good wage for what I do, since I've been at the job almost 28 years.
I also get excellent benefits.  I don't mind cramming a few more chores into each day.  It's actually fun.  ;)

Might go to the bank.
More likely will be doing the grading early since there is a "scheduled maintenance" on Saturday and Sunday.
and maybe shopping for a reward for living within my means - maybe apple spice muffin mix. or something to go with the maple syrup we bought last weekend.

I will be going to the shops for some drinks (cans of Coke Zero) and ice for Kayleigh.

Then I will be working on my GIMP assignment.

No specific  plans whatsoever bar eat, drink, piss, shit, take the usual meds and sleep.

If I have the energy, I have been meaning to getting round to giving the lab a tidy. Not actual work in there, just things like removing old projects no longer useful, or things forgotten and unidentifiable,
generally cleaning the bench and discarding clutter and stuff I just don't need or want anymore. Might do that tomorrow if I have the energy and inclination. If not, or when I finish doing that, then I'll be
playing more of my TFTD game.

It technically IS almost tomorow now. So plan is to go eat, I need to drop one too, and do my..err..'morning' hit of morph, it IS morning after all, technically. Or will be by the time I've eaten, shat, etc.
Which bit of the morning....bugger off, thats a technicality and you know it :D

So come DAWN/DAYLIGHT, then that will be time for the morning, morning one lol.

Fucked if I want to wait, my feet are killing me. Damn pompholyx has flared up again, losing me a big area of skin on the sole of one of my feet. And for some reason my other foot's heel is aching something fierce, to say nothing of my hips. The foot affected by this flare thankfully isn't over the entire surface area, so I can walk either on my toes/ball of my foot, or after applying some lidocaine or tetracaine to the part that has the muscle exposed. Bloody stings though otherwise, I doubt I'd have been able to walk on it yesterday had it been the entire foot, although its a little better today, and ugh, I can't put any steroids on it, because the stuff I have is a cream/gel, and needs wiping over and rubbing in. That, now, would probably make me scream so loud I'd get somebody from half the town away ringing for the old bill and telling them to bring the murder squad round, fucking thing is like a slab of raw, bloody meat, and makes me VERY grateful, for once in my life, that I have a shit knee enough to mean I already had good pain meds to hand without needing either to hope pleading succeeded, to try and run a synth of something whilst one-legged (no thanks!) or if a doc would part with any, I'd have had at the very earliest, had to wait for the morning, and then to try and GET to the surgery; and it be unavoidable my having to sit it out and suffer for tonight. I'd definitely not be able to get a wink of sleep tonight if I hadn't got something to dull this. A local is only going so far, and they are dangerous to use in large quantities, where there is a large surface area thats capable of enabling systemic absorption, because local anaesthetics, systemically, are very prone to causing cardiac arrythmias, although they are also used, in the case of lidocaine to cardiovert certain types of buggered up rhythms, although I forget exactly which now.

I won't be wearing socks or shoes for the next few days though thats for sure. One degloving is two too many (technically its not the first, it happened to my hand the time I accidentally got conc. HClO4 on it as a less careful and experienced nipper, and didn't fare too well either after a thionyl chloride spill soaked into, and ate, my leather gloves worn at the time, before I realized and got it off, giving my hand time to be exposed and burnt. Same hand, place, both those times, and ever since, most of my palm on that hand has looked like freddy kreuger's face, thanks to all the scar tissue left as a result. Doesn't cause me any pain, not now, or since the actual burns healed, although it is stiff to clench the hand, or grip, etc still.

^ Just Googled pompholyx and discovered it is a/k/a dyshidrotic eczema,
which I have in small amounts on occasion.  The itching is maddening!
I also have another kind of eczema, also rarely.  Fun times.  :lemur:
