It is possible to give a dead guy an erection in a few ways. There are medical procedures that can be done, or ( and this is my favorite)  after death you must place him on his stomach, and wait few hours. The direction of blood flow will produce a temporary erection.

I just spent a couple of minutes thinking about how to produce a necroerection by inserting a pencil into a dead guy's urethra and sealing the urethra at both ends so that it remains in place.  I don't think it would work very well though; the dick would still be soft and even a completely blunt pencil would tear it's way out fairly easily.  There's something wrong with me, isn't there?

My life is pretty good - or at least easy.

I've always had a depressed personality.  There's not much in life I enjoy.  I just try to minimize pain.

Also in my single passionate endeavor in life, I've always been a failure - and that's my self-identity: a failure.  I keep working it at, but so far it's been unfruitful.

I do take many psychotropic drugs, but their effectiveness seems iffy.  I've been trying a combination of Prozac and Lamictal, but I'm not too satisfied with the results at the moment.

I have tried an antidepressant with Lamictal before too. The Lamictal made me feel so even at first but the effect wore off even though I increased the dose. It just got too expensive so I gave up on it in the end.

You downgrade your own intelligence a bit I think. I mean for example you said "ubiquitous". How many people know what that means and how to spell it as well? I think you write well.

Yes, but not because you were considering the mechanics of postmortem erections. (Though if you tried putting it into practice, that might be a mite- pardon the pun here- fucked.)
