I went driving for the first time of my life!

I've been attending a driving school in my town. Just today, I drove for the first time ever on public roads. The instructor guided me while I drove about 50 miles on a highway. He said to me that I did very good, especially since I never drove on a public road before (We practiced on a parking lot last week). I will be driving an hour every day of this week until Friday. Then I will be through with the driving school and I can take the road test to get my drivers license if I am ready.

I was pretty damned nervous, plus it was nearly dark and was raining a bit. Wish me luck, guys.

 That is awesome, I never drove 50 miles on a highway when I took lessons!

Good luck! I remember how scary it was driving in traffic the first time around.

Do more practice before you do the test. Don't do the same mistake I did.

Awesome, odeon. Funny thing the mechanic asked me when I last got my car serviced was if I had ever lost my licence. I haven't. My sister has though, for speeding.

I have only been pulled over three times in nearly 20 years. Twice for RBT and once for a licence check.
