I have a major "dead insect phobia" :dunno: I'm more scared of a dead insect than a live one. I suppose I am kinda able to persuade myself that a live one will eventually find its way out, but I know that a dead one won't go anywhere.

When I was happily married, I lived in an attic apartment of an old house. It was huge, actually - one of those old Victorian houses. We had the whole attic and it was a 3 bedroom apt. Anyway, it had a lot of secret little rooms ! It had those pointy roof thingies you see on old Victorian houses, so there were a lot of little compartments that were sealed off with tiny doors to make the rooms square.

I LOVED going though all those little tiny secret rooms - except for one !

WASPS !!

And OMG, like a THOUSAND wasps. And ... the dead ones....OMG. It filled up an entire vacuum bag.

Don't mind bugs much, but a swarm can be really creepy. Once lived in a place that had a daddy long leg swarm cover the entire side of the house; another time at another house it was a swarm of lady bugs.

spiders really freak me out.

its the legs.  the way they move.

uuuurgghhh

it is a major incident when i find one lurking in the house.
and they  do lurk,   and creep up on you when you are alone.

have to section off part of the house until i can find someone
to remove it.

i don't mind really big ones, tarantula's and stuff.  i really hate
the brown ones with the puny body and stupidly long legs.

the only thing worse than an invasion itself,  is some smarty
pants telling you to 'confront' your fears and get over it.
I don't ever want to thanks :M
