I gave to Goodwill two old receivers, an old turntable, three sets of old speakers and an ugly old stereo component cabinet.

I have begun to set aside a stack of DVDs that I plan to donate as well, but I do not want to be slight with this effort. I only have about eighty. I want to get to over one hundred before I trouble them with my stash of old DVD trash.

  I think 80 DVDs would make a sufficiently impressive offering!  I barely own a dozen myself! 

Are you including your Betamax collection?

  I don't HAVE any Betamax, or any VHS for that matter. 

So it's all in 70 mm prints? I suspected so, but I didn't want to accuse you of being so old.

I actually own several 70mm prints.

I buy media often. I sometimes buy dvds just because I do not know what they are. I am keeping well over three hundred, just that I do not care to replace them on Bluray. I am reaching close to my mark, after almost an entire week of just going through things, preparing for spring cleaning.

My Bluray collection is over two hundred these days. I have a ways to go, before my collection represents a decent representation of my interests.
