Looked at a house  about a half hours drive away that I am going to bid work on
Unloaded the van and put the flea market stuff away
Cleaned up and checked out a porta power I bought on Saturday for $3 and it works well

More things set aside for the thrift store, need to put them in the car,
shopped and fueled up the car,
fed the family,
watched some TV

Can't find the what did you buy today thread.
Decided to join the 20th century and give myself an early birthday present.  Bought a digital camera.  Yea me!  (Yes, I do know this is the 21st century, I don't want to rush things.)

Such a shame that you didn't confer with us first. I'd urge you not to rush anything. :P

Well, it was red and I do like red and it was a spur of the moment thing and I'm just weak.  If I get any pictures from it I'll think about posting them.  What kind of pictures do you think it has in it?

Fell over some loose stones.
Stupid action of me. I was too lazy to walk around a block, when finding the pavement broken up for some cable work. Thought I could get across without a problem. But, did not realise how little grip my summer sandals had. Was still relying on the sturdy DrMartens. And I forgot that I was still dizzy.
So, now I have bruises on both legs, and cute impressive abrasions. Bought a bottle of water and cleaned my leg while waiting for the bus. It is looking neat now. No inflammation or anything else. (so CBC, you can be at ease, the bovine is fine)

Someone asked me if I had hurt myself, when I fell down. So, getting back on my feet, I answered her that I was, but that I was OK. Somehow she seemed surprised by the answer.  :dunno:

Did you know that in Latin digitus means both "finger" and "toe"?  :orly:

Was that a knee-jerk reaction?
