Went to a few tag sales but bought nothing
Did a walk through with my brother on a very large house that he will be helping me with next week
Returned extra materials
Moved around equipment that I need next week
Showed my daughter how to use an axe, her idea

Uh-oh, we all know where  that  could lead!   :zoinks:

Today I worked calmly and efficiently.  Some days I feel sharper and more on my game, today was like that.  8)

Fell asleep around 3 or 4 am. Woke up at 7:55am (hitting snooze since 7am).
Walked dog
Bused to the zoo
Volunteered until 2
Walked around zoo
ran into someone from my past
walked more around the zoo
bused back home
very tired, drained, exhausted
and then, not anymore!
kind of slap happy.

Mowed the lawn, in stripes

not straight,  in fact i gobbed it if i am honest

I'd chastise you for  "gobbing it"  if I knew what that was.  :P

This guy   :goat:   will help maintain the lawn for you!

I remember that a neighbor let his grass grow to about 4 or 5 inches high.  When he mowed it, he made it into a maze.  All of us neighborhood kids had a marvelous afternoon playing and imagining in the maze.  Then the next day he mowed the magic away, but I still remember that magic day.

My father tended to let the back yard grow pretty wild, with all kind of grasses and other stuff.

I'm also repairing 2 pair of PA's jeans.  They have holes in the knees.  I'm using the pockets from a pair of bright yellow denim shorts I rescued from the dumpster.

That's how my backyard was as well. Like a jungle.

Spent an hour and a half teaching my daughter how to drive.

 :zombiefuck:

Was it horrible?

To the car, most definitely. To me, nah, I'm patient. She will learn but I'd better allow her the time she needs to be a safe driver.

did you two practice on the street or a big parking lot?

Here, we have a park with roads.  Perfect for teaching turns and parking since there snt much traffic.
Misunderstood.

It was a big parking lot. And we'll stick to the parking lot until she can handle the basics.

My dad let us drive on a field and on a private road when I was 13 and my brother was 8. My brother barely reached the pedals
