I removed about 20 lbs of frost-bitten food from the freezer.  Will do more on Thursday and maybe next Monday, hoping to set up a monthly cooking/storage plan.

A smaller freezer is really helpful.

My mother manages brilliantly with a freezer that can store two dead corpulent bodies. I have a freezing compartment below my fridge, and, the size makes that it is good enough to freeze some discount stuff, or meals prepared for more than one day, some emergency bread etc. But, small enough to prevent me having to get rid of lots and lots of not eaten food.

I'm not methodical and organised enough to do it the way my mother does it.

And, I don't have the need to be prepared for a dozen of unexpected guests for dinner, like my mother has either.  :tard:

Well, my parents have a large fridge/ freezer & a chest freezer, for similar sorts of reasons. Although they don't throw so many large parties now, Mum's always getting the joints of meat that do take up a fair amount of room.
Whereas I've just got a shelf & drawer in the shared fridge/ freezer, which does for my purposes. Enough for a few pizzas/ ready meals, the odd steaks & other cuts of meat, etc.

Organise kids to school, or at least ready to leave for school. Go to work, out of village grocery shopping after that. Back home, being a mum. Picking up a prescription, bringing back a book to a friend. Making a quite delightful dinner. Some practising for middle east peace negotiations. Getting youngest to bed, and, then oldest. Cats are in. This girl will be looking for her bed soon too.

Don't know what is happening, but last week, I think there was only one night that I got in bed after midnight.

I may be getting normal.........

Fed my cats and worked on my ebook and other related projects, and put away my organic fruits and veggies.

Took the PR to a thrift store.  Bought underwear, a shirt, a cell phone holder and a painting for her room.  Went grocery shopping too.

Went home worked on the shed and stuff for the market

No a lot, yet. But I'll probably write for a while. I need to complete a whitepaper.
