About our house. We had a guy add insulation to the house but he didn't do it properly so right now the house functions like a refrigerator. The inspector was fab, though, and instantly found the problem--there was little to stop air flowing in between the layers from underneath the facade.

It's going to be fixed, though.

I'm hopeful. This guy apparently didn't do everything wrong and the fixes seem to be straight-forward.

Shoveled the little bit of snow we got off the drive,sidewalk and porches
Went and got a coffee
Knocked a big hole in the wall going from the living room to the hall by the kitchen let more light in and open up the house a bit more.  It will be a cased opening with a shelf

Made a pizza, cleaned the kitchen properly, did the dishes and ate the pizza after that. Also unclogged the shower drain earlier today, got some groceries and relaxed a bit outside in the sun. Last was nice for a change.

Took Max for a long walk along the river
Framed in an unnecessary doorway into the dinning room to declutter the room some
Picked up out in the yard some more and got everything ready for a dump rum in the morning

well i went to work and then came home

oh, and i asked mike hranica to marry me on facebook. it was one of like 300 comments he received on one of his updates
