I can do upside down chocolate moo things!
I have just been to my very first parents evening!pleasantly surprised. academically his knowledge of numbers, alphabet, phonics etc are very much in line with the other kids. he still struggles with holding a pen and is still trying to do this with both hands. he surprised everyone when they played a game where other children were pulling faces and he had to find the angry one, sad one etc, she said he got top marks. he does need to understand aboutpersonal space more. really really pleased. well done little urchin

When monkeyboy was his age I used to tell him to pretend that everyone has a bubble around them, and if you get too close, you'll pop they're bubble and that will make them feel uncomfortable. Worked well. If I was around and I saw he was crowding in on personal space I'd quietly say "bubble" and he'd take 2 steps back. The flipside is that I reminded him that HE has a pretend bubble around him too and if someone is in his space, he has the right to ask them to step back.

Good for the Urchin. He's paying attention even when it doesn't seem he is.

Went grocery shopping. Found some pie pumpkins on sale for 25 cents a pound. I'm going to make pumpkin pie this Thanksgiving. Flowers may be sent to East Jefferson Hospital for whoever eats my pie fiasco.
