Shopped for a lot of groceries, took a garbage pick up walk and am otherwise getting back to being centered from the frenzy of our recent travel experiences. :zombiefuck:

I woke up, tried checking the mail realized the flag was still up... which meant the mail carrier hadn't shown up yet.

Went to a maintenance issues meeting with the Housing Choices team who are in charge of our house. Learned that when we move we don't have to take the air conditioning with us, the next tenants can make use of it.

Also got talking with one of the staff and found out that our hot water system may be on its way out (I described its symptoms).

It's been a productive day and now I'm worn out from socialising.

Went to the local public library and took out a book and a miracle happened, they had found a bookmark that I thought I had lost forever.  I had left it in a book that I returned, and when I couldn't find it when I needed it, well I figured it out what I had done.  But, now we're reunited and I am happy :2thumbsup:.  It's a plastic bookmark with the title, "Advice from a Rock", and being a rockhound I bought it in the little bookstore that some friends of mine own.  Simple pleasures keep me going!   8)

I did my Saturday housework, fueled the car, and paid bills, so now everything is clean and stocked. :hadron: I also completed one of three gift obligations coming up this month.  :2thumbsup:
