I went out today earlier for a few sundries and I was surprised (and pleased) to see maybe more than half of the people in stores were wearing masks. Some actually were trying to wear them properly.
Instead of mask shaming those who do not bother, which still happens sometimes, the unmasked seem to just look at us and shake their heads. Almost as if WE are doing wrong.
Hey, I got in step back in March. I know it seems ridiculous to wear a cloth mask to prevent the spread of a virus, kind of like building a chainlink fence to keep out mosquitoes, but it is suggested that the typical mini-rain shower we create when we speak is a major cause of infection rates climbing.
The reality is that I am in the high risk group and I try to avoid contact as much as possible.
