Cleaned kitchen, mopped floors downstairs, finished a pair of socks, had a meeting, bummed around, did laundry, both by machine and by hand, got groceries, made food, catered cats and kid in between.
Closure of the day just now was a bit of chocolate fondue.
May go for a nightly walk later. Yesterday, new moon and all, there was a little spot so dark I saw glowworms. Had not seen them for over twenty years. And I have been outside in the 'dark' more than enough.

I spent yesterday and today with my little girl. Neither I went into work today and only for 2 hours before she called me in despair. Dad and daughter time.

I know you don't like me but, hugs for you and your girl. Her mother sounds horrible and careless. I don't understand how she could abandon her own daughter like that. What's wrong with her?

Don't have a camera good enough to catch the glow in the dark. And with a flashlight you'd only see a larvae like critter, without the glow.

That's a shame. If you ever were able to, I would really like to see them. I wonder how they would appear in infrared. I would assume the glow wouldn't produce much heat.

Had an unannounced visit from our Support Coordinator this morning.  I was taking a bath when she came.  I sort of had my butt chewed out in an earlier phone conversation about some of The PR's behaviours and my lack of appropriate response.  Also she was doing a surprise "How clean is the house" check.  It was not a happy morning.

That's not cool at all. There's no reason they need to be surprising you in your space like that.

Today involved taking the SO to the hospital.
Dropping monkeygirl off at her Dad's
Wrapping up the work with the roofers
Finding an injured boy on the side of the road and packing him and his friend (and their bikes) into the van and driving them back home.
Groceries were bought for the week and put away
Have been trying all day to get around to taking a shower but it's already 8pm and it hasn't happened yet.
