As for me, made a batch of acetone oxime to test some catalysts (urushibara nickel variants), received my new hotplate/stirrer (this one has some nice features too, digital display, ability to set temperature to arrive at and hold, controlled by a thermocouple probe, magnetic stirring, free stirbar, ability to set temperature ramping parameters and also to specify a cut-out temp. to cease heating at before it actually arrives at that temperature, and by how far below it you want it to do so, which is really rather neat.

Just spent a last £11 or so I found I had, on a pair of 24/40 vacuum adapters w/ teflon stopcocks.
Tonight, I think will be spent, sleep aside, testing the new hotplate, preparing some ultrafine precipitated nickel, then making that into Urushibara nickel (for catalytic reductions of various kinds depending on the specific type and grade of catalyst. Got the stuff to do it, so why the hell not )

Took the oldest to all of his appointments. Went back to the old place to load up the van with more stuff.

Cleaned off about 1/2 of the accumulation on the open side of the carport.  Threw out quite a bit.

Still have some things to go through, but I can probably sneak those by as garbage (pickup Tues and Fri) instead of trash (pickup Tues).

*ran errands at the drug store
*bought a small congrats on your new house gift and card for the buyers of my place
*bought a dishwasher and got 50% off the MRSP
*bought a small hard plastic storage shed to keep the trash bins in outside so that the critters won't get into it.
*cleaned the old place

Carried box of things to Salvation Army.
Carried two smaller boxes of things to post office.
Bought third box because there are so many things.
Met with estate lawyer.
Went to work. Didn't get much done.
Came home. Made dinner. Listened to landlady talk about her life.
Packed. Angsted over packing. Packed more.
Now going to get ready for bed.

I am waiting for that to happen to me at college. Every few months we have to reset our passwords. Thing is, I will really have to think to come up with another one.

Anyway, today I mapped a sample business hierarchy. Don't know what for, but I did it in Word.

I had to reset it because I have a new computer and I forgot my old password. I left it a few weeks because after resetting my passwords for everything else I need to log into I was just sick of resetting passwords.

Pick something you like and just add a number to it, and when password changes are required then only change the number.

Went to work, worked. Went home. Left to other town for appointment. Drank tea at daughter's place. Missed bus. Decided to get some stuff in the Lidl. Missed next bus. Now waiting at busstop. In the shade, so all is well.

Took SO to work. Napped. Washed dishes. Did laundry. Unpacked more boxes.

Was quite passive today.. but I did a bit of hairdressing (cut off a little bit of my own hair), handwashed a shirt in the bathroom's sink.. pre-washed it to be machine washed with other coloured clothes tomorrow, loaded dishwasher and unloaded it again after it had done it's job (free of charge extra info now: it takes the machine 81 minutes to run it's cycle), cleaned knives, chopping boards, frying pan and strainer and 'proper up-ed' kitchen after dinner. 

Showered, properly brushed teeth, ran some errands, etc....

Am now enjoying drinking my favorite beer and watching a bit of television. Anthony Bourdain is visiting South-Africa. The classic 'La Piscine' is being shown at 22h30 on some TV channel also but I guess I'll be in bed by then already. Feel tired.. think I had a bit too much of gluten (incluis beer now) today.

Played Just Dance with DD and laughed until our sides hurt. Worked on setting up her room a bit more. Cooked, cleaned, read, vacuumed the pool. Searched for bullfrogs in the pond but didn't find any.
