I buy the giant jumbo packs, but we probably don't even use half of it before I buy another jumbo pack. There's a section in the bathroom closet where I put it, that section holds eight jumbo packs, and when that section gets full sugarbutt tells me to chill out.  :zoinks:

LOL. I do sometimes get a pack of 24 rolls if they are on offer or I am in a 'what the hell, saves me bothering for 3-4 weeks' mood. Ugh, I hate having to deal with such things, you know, human bodily functions.

Just spent several hours digging out more of my toy collection and making room for the HVAC guy to come in tomorrow.
Crazy, I'm halfway to crazy
Suicide would waste me
Homicide would break me
Tongue tied and tied to the tongue
Tongue tied and tied to the tongue
Oh, is life as bad as dreams
I guess that's just the way it seems

I thought about working on something I'd promised to work on , and procrastinated by adding 2-3 pages to my book, Then I rewarded myself for a good morning's work with a cup of coffe, and then procrastinated by coming here. Then I saw Odeon's  reply to one of my posts and though bleedin' hell that requires a bit a bit of brainwork , to answer that (not because I don;yt know what i'll say but because it takes me ages to translate my thoughts into words) . And so, I basically procrastinated on responding to Odeon by posting various bits of simple shit. Like This.

I am presently wondering at what point in the day I mislaid my brain, and where I've put the freaking thing, this time.

Another session at the gym... ouch, my legs are sore ... tea in Costa, started reading a textbook on Criminal Profiling and just the boring shopping bit in a local Sainsbury's that was full of weirdos... more weird than me, that is.

Shopping (boring but I ran out of toilet roll) and hit the gym for 90 minutes.

The only thing I hoard is toilet paper. I don't know why I need so much toilet paper, but I do.   :zoinks:

Are you lining your burrow with it?  :tp: :tp: :tp:  :zoinks:

I have done extremely little today.  Took out the trash and recycling, retrieved my recycling bin hours later.  :autism:

Nah, I'm just hoarding it.  :zoinks: It's been a household comedic point of contention forever. There's been times I wanted to just run out, so everyone would have a cow about it. Then I could say, ooooh a years supply of toilet paper sure would be handy about now right. I just can't bring myself to run out of toilet paper though.  :lol1:

My friend's former tenants used to come to her side of the duplex to beg for a roll or two.
She used to muse aloud about the stupidity of letting oneself run out of toilet paper.  She hoards it too.  :tp:

Whenever Sugarbutt and I argue about expiration dates, he tells me I'll appreciate all his expired food when the apocalypse comes, and I tell him he'll appreciate all my toilet paper.  :lol1:

Toilet paper lasts longer than food.  It's not as if it can poison your ass if it's old.

I read earlier that while coffee grounds have a limited shelf life, instant coffee is good for more than a year past it's "expiration date."  I've found that to be true.

FYI - I treat "best by", "best used by", "expires", etc. as almost irrelevant in most cases.  Since when does bottled water have an expiration date?  Freeze meats as soon as I get home so they can be used later. Please note, if it's iffy, I pass it by.

If properly stored, freeze dried coffee can last 20 years, like many freeze dried foods. Have read about plastic chemicals leeching into bottled water, but the FDA doesn't require an expiration date for bottled water, and manufacturer expiration dates are related to quality of flavor and odor, not safety. Frozen foods are suggested as expired after a year of freeze, and by that point probably has some level of freezer burn anyway. Charity organizations will generally accept donated dried and canned foods within 6 moths of expiration; some sources claim if stored properly shelf life can be doubled but personally not interested in eating anything a homeless shelter wouldn't even feed me.

My Mom was a 3rd generation Capricorn and she lived with her widowed mother and widowed grandmother during the Depression and WW2.  Capricorn's motto is Eat it up, Wear it out.  Make it do or do without.  We ate mostly home cooked meals, stretched meals, etc.  Except for shoes, socks and boys swim trunks (they were cheaper than girls suits, and nobody cared if we wore them), all our clothes were homemade.

I got my first store bought skirt in 1963. Just the skirt because the matching top was 59 cents which Mom thought was too much to pay.  76 cents for the skirt was okay because it was a poodle skirt with a lot of material.

Watch the cat try to catch a fly.

Duel with the washer, cook, and reset the router.

I think it's time for a bigger antenna.
