What have you done today? (Pt 2)

Our insulation is called Cool or Cosy and I have to say it is shit. If we get one hot day it is fine, two or more in a row and the house really heats up and there's nothing we can do about it. No air-conditioning.

It is 28C inside right now. Too hot. To do anything.

   In areas where heat is the primary issue radiant barriers work pretty good.   Ask your landlord he may be able to get it done at a reduced cost though a government rebate

Bright, cool, sunny day. took the PR for a ride and looked at some parade floats, went to Goodwill, the grocery and home.

  I have gotten up, eaten a massive breakfast, watched an episode of House,
  and am now drinking coffee and water and postwhoring my way up to my goal/s. 


   50,000 by 3/24!

  I've finally made a dent in the laundry.  Second load is in the washer now.

  Second load of wash is now in the dryer and my comforter is spinning in the washing machine.
  I sprayed my bed and pillows with Lysol to freshen and disinfect, and have a window slightly
  open for further freshening of the room.  Soon I will make up the bed with clean bedding.

Did some laundry, changed the bedclothes, vacuumed (1 room down, 1 to go), did other picking up, paid some bills, found a document I'd kind of misplaced but really just hadn't bothered to try tracking down, did some financial recording and other filing, went through my accumulated mail, did the same for some of my email, thanked people for cards they sent, did my taxes, hemmed a pair of work pants that had unhemmed itself a couple of weeks ago that I've been procrastinating about fixing (I can go months with things like that, but these are my all-purpose black professional-looking work pants that are also very good fat pants, so I'd been very eager to have them back in the rotation).

Not too shabby for a slow day snowed in.
