Wednesday b'fast with BFF, some de-cluttering, made a dynamite beef stew (sorry Hyke), began to assemble the info for income taxes (our first time in years - I was paid as the contractor on the house, so we probably will have to file and pay taxes this year.)

Not much yet. I had just decided to sleep another fifteen minutes when the family woke me up. It's my b'day.

Another day spent in meetings. I also spent some time teaching the basics of what we do to a newcomer.

Prepped for tonight's supper...Steve's Mighty Meaty Meat loaf!!!   

  I do love a good meatloaf.  Many years ago, my family visited my father's childhood
  hometown and had dinner with elderly neighbors of his late parents.  The wife made a meatloaf with
  bacon and ketchup baked on the top of it, so delicious!  She also had a beautiful fluffy white-frosted
  layer cake on a little pedestal under a clear plastic dome, the old-fashioned way.  Nice visit!

  I've actually had a productive day! 


  First I had a long-overdue eye exam and got my new prescription for progressive bifocals.
  Then I went to my bank, ordered my new checks, and applied for a credit card.
  Then I went to the store for supplies.  Now my laundry is whirling in the dryer.

Wow, growing up fast. I remember being 15. It was a good year.

Today I got up at 7am to finish stuff before the inspection (which I passed). Finished sweeping up leaves out the back, did the dishes and cleaned the cupboards. One last sweep around and I was done.

I only had a brief one once, about the construction of the house after my ex left and the contract had to be changed. The house was far from tidy, because of one person moving out. And they did not comment on that at all. For the rest, only check-ups when moving out, to see that the house was still intact.

Started a new pro-biotic treatment to see if it gets my IBS/colitis under control!

Slept in and took my antibiotic. My face is healing rapidly. Right eye lid is still inflamed and itching, but the red extension is less than a tenth of the size it has last Monday by my estimation.
