Went to see the progress of making the headstone of my father's grave, with my mother and one brother.

Took the PR to her semi-annual psychiatric appointment.  In a couple of hours I'll get ready to work the voting poll tomorrow.

Managed to time a walk in the half-hour between interminable rain and interminable rain. Got a few spatters and fresh, if wet, air.

Went and picked up soil for the garden. Carried five 50lb bags of it up the hill, trimmed back a shrub, weeded, and cut the grass by the highway that isn't mine because it's there.

Spent a few hours with my sister. We visited our father in the nursing home, had lunch at Denny's, and shopped.  8)

Can you hand me a cup of coffee too, Odeon?

Sure. Plenty of coffee here. :)

Thank you.

I'd like a refill now too, please. Your coffee is stronger than the cups I had the past few days, spending my time with my mother.

Did some light chores in my new life plan.

Decided that I really don't care for bacon.  Everyone cooks it too much and I end up re-tasting burnt stuff for hours later on.  I am leaving all the bacon for Lady Weeble.

*swoops in and steals the bacon*

Neighbor gave me a rug, I fought with it, cursed it and finally got it put down.

Never had a rug so heavy and thick in my life, sucker must weigh well over 150 lbs. :P

I will slow-cook it for you, so it stays chewy! :cbc: :bacon:
