Good, I'm glad hun. And what was wrong the other day? *hugs*

As for me, I've...made breakfast, ate breakfast, drank the rest of the bottle of chocolate milkshake I used to cover my bowl of rice crispies, I've taken various meds, popped a little extra oxy (in fairness I've been using very little morphine, been reserving it for more deserving things than day to day mobility) I've eaten some chocolate covered marshmallow-filled 'teacakes' which are not in fact cakes, or teacakes (which are a kind of sweet raisin-bread bun) but disks of soft, chewyish chocolatey cookie, topped with a large dome of thin chocolate, inside which is filled with marshmallow. Although they have changed the consistency to something gooey. One used to be able to suck the marshmallow out in one piece, and you can't anymore :(

Rolled a few smokes, smoked same. Moved my old man's mail inside while he was out fishing. Found there was a large parcel for me too. Took it in, opened the box and recoiled at the devilish-smelling cloud of sulfur dioxide that came emanating from within like one of Satan's own farts. Nevertheless, gleefully retrieved the bottle of thionyl chloride from within its roll of slightly corroded bubble-wrap nestled within my box of goodies.

Still got a couple of things to wait for but those won't come today. Ah, well, that just makes it all the better in one way, the anticipation, when you KNOW you have something you want making its way to you.

I still need to get some concentrated nitric acid though. Because, I'm going to give making the somewhat metallic, violet allotrope of phosphorus, violet phosphorus a go.

The other day I woke up still tired and dull-witted after my 13-day stretch at work.  :tard:

Worked all day. Managed to fix a couple of bugs in my conversion code.

I sleep irregularly, have done so for years and especially since going on Strattera.
I feel about as good now as I'm going to feel.  Off to work again, kick ass!
One day closer to retirement!  :pirate:

Thats the spirit CBC:)

Sleep-wise I am much the same way. Whenever doctors ask about my sleep pattern, I have to spend too long explaining to them that I don't actually have one. You'd think those few words, 'I haven't got one' would be enough but no, they don't seem to understand that simple concept.

Working on a batch of chlormethiazole.

Cleaning PSE by means first of methanol extraction, and then cleaning the crap from the PSE with boiling acetone.
