Blew insulation into two houses for Habitat for Humanity.
The second one was the worst I started it about 1230 and though I could finish without coming down and ended up staying up there a bit too long felt like I was going to pass out with only 15 minutes of work left I had to climb down and lay on the floor for a half hour before I felt like I could go back up

Did you get things like that before? Do you know what causes it?

Too friggin hot I bet, last few days have been really hot and humid here. My attic will take your breath away, and it's pretty well vented and insulated.

Glad you're okay parts. I don't know how you do it in the summer wearing the gear you need to wear. :zombiefuck:

We need to start a fund and get you and the  :cbc: air conditioned suits.

One for you for working in attics, and one for her, for her hot flashes. ;)

Maybe she can loan it to me when she's done with it.

I've gotten fresh bread in the morning, had breakfast with youngest after that.
A friend came by with his daughter and a cart half filled with big trash, I filled up his cart to the brim and his car with my waste paper and some stuff for recycling. Very happy that that now is gone from garden and shed. I can make new piles, culling my house from stuff I do not need nor will need.
After that mowed the lawn. Also clipped my ivy, and a bit of that of the neighbours. Their ivy was making the alley behind the houses nearly impassable.

Did stuff like that. And it is visible. I like it, when it is visible what I did.

I can trim hedges and stuff till my bins are filled to the brim. Next week I hope to be able to finish the last bit of my hedges. The beech and spirea hedge have been finished. The ivy is nearly done. The privy hedge is half way. First time trimming of the year brings the most waste of leaves and branches. Takes about four or five weeks to get it all gone. I am now cheating, using my grey bin for the ivy. That's because they have not completely emptied my green bin two times in a row.

There not that bad yet...or all the ground flaxseed I've been sprinkling on my food is keeping them at bay.

Truck had air, it's been broken for about 2 years now. :P

I need to do some weeding. I need a major therapy session today. I want to trim my hedges on the side of the house, but they are full of locust right now.

Works like therapy indeed, a good weeding session.

Maybe you can harvest the locusts, freeze them and sell them later in the year as pet food.  :orly:

They just had a locust festival.

They had them available cooked and candied and served on butterscotch pudding.

Needless to say I did not attend. :P

It was indeed the heat it was over 125F(51.7C) in the attic.  I head up with a couple of bottles of water and am usually good for 2 hours or so before I need a break.

Had a shower and washed my hair, which I dislike doing. Ate. Homework, which I should get back to.

i'm a lightweight by comparison. i have worked at an amusement park when temps were 110F and up. The rides made the place hotter. They gave us hats and water bottles. now i complain when it gets above 25C
apparently they used to have sauna competitions in which participants withstood temperatures of 110C or higher.

When I was a postie, on hot days, I threw water over my head and neck, every time I parked my bike to walk a new street.

But temperatures over 50ºC and working at temperatures like that for hours? No way.

In a sauna at least you sit still. And it does not last for hours in the heat.
