What have you done today? (Pt 2)

Dropped my car off for repairs and then went shopping with Carla.

I went to the dentist

Just got home an hour ago. Yoshi keeps yowling at me... I think he's bored

I think he missed you.

I did some more wrapping. I usually buy boxes of chocolate covered mint patties from the dollar tree for the guys to give to their friends and co-workers along with a card for Christmas. They're a decent sized box, very yummy, and a nice inexpensive gift to give for people who don't make the shopping list. I haven't been able to find them in the local stores, so I ordered them online. The last time I ordered something from the dollar tree, it took so long to arrive it was too late, so I was worried about doing that. I was stunned this order arrived in two days, and wrapped them all this evening. I just stack them up on a shelf in the living room, along with a pack of cards, and let them take it from there.

Screamed in Klingon at my boss (Not really... I wanted to, but she would find a way to get rid of me)

Unloaded the van
Took things to my storage unit
Returned the scaffolding I rented

I wiped inside the fridge and made a shopping list for tomorrow.

Woke up, took the dog out for his business, got my money I needed... also I owe Mom for my dentist bill.

Washed hair (which is getting more time consuming now that it's long) and went to the Salvos. Yesterday I put a rack of clothes out in the shop with blank tags. These tags are for clothes that cost more than $10 and need to be priced by a staff member, not a volunteer. It should be done before the rack goes out onto the shop floor. Only I forgot they were there and put the rack out. So I went in this morning to tell someone in the shop that there were tickets to be priced. The rack was still in the place that I left it, luckily. When I left, one of the staff was pricing them.

I grocery shopped and fueled up the car. I also finished the christmas shopping, except for two gifts. One is something I'm going to have shipped directly to the recipient, so I'm waiting a little bit to pull the trigger on that. The other is the boy. He usually picks out his big gift, but hasn't decided yet. If he can't think of anything then I'm going to get him a new phone. His screen is cracked and I've offered to gift him a new one a couple of times, but he's like me and doesn't use his phone much so he always turns me down preferring to have something else instead.

I haven't done any Christmas shopping yet. I'll probably buy a bunch of vouchers at the last minute. I wish I could put some proper thought into what each person would like but I'm hopeless at that and always have been. It's easier when they're all kids but everyone has grown up.

Today Kayleigh and I walked to Aldi. We bought three bags of stuff then wondered how we were to carry it all home. We managed it with lots of stops on the way.

I did my Saturday housework. I wanted to do the cars today too, but I already feel done for today. I seriously slept in this morning, so that means I started cleaning late and also finished much later than usual. I'm not going to do any big cleaning jobs this weekend anyway, so I might do the cars tomorrow. The only thing I have left to do is the windows, but I want to wait until closer to Christmas so they're more freshly cleaned. Plus Sugarbutt has been running the sprinklers on the grass seed and they're splashing a couple of the windows out front, so there's not much point in doing them right now anyway.
