What have you done today? (Pt 2)

Watched and listened to a line of very severe thunderstorms roll thru our area.  Blipped the power briefly and interrupted our cable tv, also briefly.

So that was the origin of those flashes you saw earlier?

I haven't done much. Watched Kayleigh play Starfield for a while. Had Cornflakes for breakfast.

No, that was a separate system that moved northeast of us.  It's part of an unstable system that is, hopefully, going to sweep this hot humid weather out.

I did my Saturday housework, now everything is all clean and stocked for another week. I also bought a gift for an upcoming birthday, and gassed up the car.

Did my odd job today... satisfied... just annoyed that the Diamondbacks beat my Cubbies

I made an Irlen testing appointment for October 11th.

I got a dentist appointment at 12:30pm tomorrow, and it's a teaching clinic at the Community College. I'm going to be stuck in one spot for 3 hours -__-

Got the oil changed in the van
Cleaned the filters in the dishwasher
Successfully fixed a free lawnmower to replace mine that died

Walked to Aldi and back. Had breakfast. Put a load of washing on, now going to call my Dad.

I did my Saturday housework and made some progress in the garage. I'm done with the garage for now, everything is finished except for the floor. I'm concerned it's still too hot and humid for the floor, so I'll hopefully revisit the project in about a month. In the meantime it looks like a clean tidy awesome fun man cave again and I'm so pleased.  While I'm waiting on the weather, I'm hoping to start a new project. I expect to have delivered today, a product which is a grout color and sealant all in one. I plan to test it this evening under the stove or fridge and then hopefully move forward tomorrow.

I started my grout project today. While I'm pleased with the initial results, I only finished the master bedroom, master bath and closet, so today has shown this is going to be a very time consuming project. I'll probably start working on it for an hour or two every evening so it doesn't end up taking months.

Took a walk today and picked another plastic grocery bag full of garbage.  The litter bugs are having a field day!

Went to Church, had a get together for lunch with some friends, now I'm getting ready for my appointment with my therapist.
