I spent the entire day, up to about an hour ago, in the garage. We made huge progress!
The difference: when they asked me what I wanted for Father's Day I just told them all that I wanted some help in the garage doing some of the two-man things.
Result was my wife and my son spent all day as laborers and I (did a hell of a lot) directed their efforts.
... and I have a massive pile too large to fit for one trip in my SUV backend to go to the donation site or the county recycle center. For instance, I still have three 120 foot 10GA power cables left over from my sound company days that I will never need again. I am recycling them, along with seven more 12GA and 14GA. I have tried for years to put them into hands where they would be used again, but the 10GA cables weigh over 80Lbs each.
I'm old school, man! You need a lot of copper to run high current devices long distances into the wild!
I see all these dumbass punks running 16GA orange cables to power an amp and burning out output transistors every few tries. It's not even a study of complicated physics you need. An understanding of a chart someone else has already made up for you is all you need to know better. Not even any math is necessary!
