I washed the dog beds and I also washed the cars.
I only gave the cars a quick once over. During pollen season, trying to keep the cars clean is about a futile as trying to keep the floors clean. I'm super pleased with the dog beds though. The small one always goes through the wash well. I tried washing the large one in the washing machine when we first bought it, but it has these tiny rubber dots on the bottom to keep it from skidding. A bunch of those dots came loose and there were tiny rubber dots stuck all over the inside of the dryer. It was horrible. Since then, I've been using carpet cleaner and a scrub brush to clean it, but it had reached the point of still looking dingy after it was cleaned. Today I washed it in the bathtub and I put it in the washer only on the spin cycle, and then dried it out in the driveway. I don't know why I never thought of that before, but I'm definitely doing that from now on. It looks brand new.
