I ordered a couple of gifts for Sugarbutt. I also ordered some finishing wax. The dining room table has a couple of dull spots and no amount of furniture oil or polish will help it look better for more than a day or two. From what I've read, the finishing wax may be my only hope other than asking Surgarbutt to sand and refinish it. I hope it works.

Nope. It's a scientifically proven fact that petting animal fur makes people feel better, so rubbing my tummy should fix you all up.

Finally set up a real workspace. Have been riding the kitchen table for two years and somehow still believing it's temporary.

My finishing wax arrived today, so I polished the diningroom table. I did two coats and right now it looks fantastic, but I'll have to wait and see if it will hold up, maybe need another coat or two, or if it will just all soak in like everything else and look like I did nothing. Fingers crossed.

Took the cats to the vet this morning. Kira shat himself like he has every time he's gone to the vet. All they got was a checkup and vaccination each. Nearly $200. But the vet is lovely with cats, that's why we go to him.

Wifey gave me amonthly budget for hooch and the only way to stay a comfortable distance from sobriety is to make my own.  I've developed a damn fine lager recipe.

Cleaned the basement. Fed the family. Worked.

Ate some frogs. Feeling good about it.

Woke up, fed the cats and got the washing off the line. Boring stuff.

Went out with Dad today, he had to go fill up his car with Petrol, after that we hanged out at McDonalds, after McDonalds we stopped at the Thrift Shop and I found two films at a good price:

Pleasantville

Would be better if I could find more of those Korean Action Films across the street as I did with my finding of Old Boy (Not the American Shit-remake that Spike Lee made)

Finally with Carlas tech skills and some serious good stuff from "new" Iphone , got my account set up with social security.  That and thanks to a good SS worker who got me thru the worst getting my documents in order and clarified.  The online crap wasn't working well.  But a zoom call and her guidance worked well to finally get it hooked up properly.

I got most of the weekend chores done. I still need to vacuum and mop but the boy is sleeping and it only takes about fifteen minutes, so I'll wait until later when he's up. I also need to clean in his room but I'll do that tomorrow morning before he gets home. I also decluttered and reorganized the ugly cabinet to make some room, so the toaster and coffee pot no longer live on the kitchen counter. Sugarbutt walked in the kitchen and said it looks like no one lives here. I told him, good.
