I have heard of a person carrying on a fake conversation on their phone in front of people. And then their phone rings, interrupting their fake conversation.I haven't done it myself. I don't like talking on the phone so am unlikely to fake a conversation on one.
Wouldn't work for me, everyone who knows me knows that my standard response to my phone ringing is:"Fuck off*," *hit "end call" button*.*To the phone itself; I don't answer it like that.
I suppose someone might want to do it to appear importantor popular?I have a computer voice that says 'you have nine hundred andninety nine messages' when i get a textI just find it funny!
