^ Think ZEGH means it quite 'literally'. I.e. jar upside down, on the head, the ring determines the 'cut-line' of the hair. Not sure.. plus I don't know the not-literal meaning though.

~

Me, I have never had a beard older than p/m a week, I think. I'm cool with others having one but it's not my thing. Well, I have long (messy) hair and that in combination with a somewhat longer beard.. makes me look like jesus or something.. or a bum, probably.

Due to laziness I sometimes have a 2/3 days beard but that's it. Oh, did have a goatee on the chin earlier or some hairdo thingie under my underlip but never with hair above my upper lip. That's a def. no-no for me.

Blah.

My husband has had a beard since he was in graduate school.  His beard was so black and grew so quickly that he had to shave at least twice a day to appear to be even somewhat clean shaven, so he decided to stop.

My facial hair is too scrappy to look good, and for some reason the hair on my chin is platinum blonde, while the hair elsewhere on my face is brown.

Weird!!

I suppose growing a goatee is out of the question.

It's also weird that thanks to the Prof, whenever I hear the word 'goatee', I think of 'goatse'.

Hmm, I've worn some sort of facial hair for as long as I could grow it, though I change the style often.  I like the chinstrap, though I wear mine a bit thinner than the one in the picture.  It is a pain to keep even though, I've ended up clean shaven before from repeated attempts to even out the sides.  It helped when I switched to an old school safety razor, the kind that takes those super thin double edged blades and has a slight curve to it.  It's much more precise than a modern razor, and the blades cost pennies so I can always keep a fresh one in it instead of trying to squeeze as many shaves as possible out of an expensive Mach3 or Quattro cartridge.

If by "platinum blonde" you mean white, I have a lot of that as well.  :zoinks:

Ah, yes, I'm "platinum blonde" too. :zoinks:
