I remember the days of grass-induced cat puking.  I used to live with seven cats.  :zombiefuck:

Actually nothing.  I dread the laundry above all, but I did that yesterday, so it's all good.  8)

is it bad or tasteless to ask what's bad about laundry? i had rituals about laundry (mostly  folding warm things) that i miss now. going to the laundromat was kind of a break for me. when i lived in northampton it was right around the corner so i could even go home and have a snack while the wash was going.

one of my father's punishments was to get me up at 2am and make me rewash all the dishes and pots if he found that even only one was not properly cleaned. he probably didn't realize that i was awake anyway, and it's unlikely that he realized that it was soothing to me to wash the dishes alone in a quiet kitchen. that might be related to the laundry stuff being soothing.

I don't mind the question.  The problem I have with laundry is that it must be done in a
shared laundry room two floors below me.  So I have to make multiple trips up and down the stairs
carrying detergent, bags of laundry, up and down for hours.  Also, since I have to make sure I'm
not "hogging" machines that others need, I have to watch the time.  The whole process keeps taking me
out of my bubble of introversion.  If I had laundry machines in my own apartment, I wouldn't mind doing
laundry at all.  The way I do it now just breaks up my solitude too much.  First world problem.

I switched to the pods last year.  It's a whole lot easier to carry a few of them rather than a box or bottle of detergent.  You can also measure out the powdered detergent into ziplock bags and only carry the amount you need.

They cost a bit more, but they sure are convenient.

I have started using the pods too. Omo ones, they smell nice. Not sure if Omo is an Australian brand.

Have not seen Omo in pods yet.
Thirty years ago Omo was my favourite brand, because they had an unscented version of their detergent too.

still have to call the dentist but got all the bills paid.

bills are not so bad with online payments, but writing the checks used to be dreadful.
mr adhd would pay some folks twice, send the wrong checks, sign them in the wrong place. ugh. he doesn't have to write many checks these days and py helps by proofreading them.
