I do know what wet times can do. No hills here, flat as a pancake in the polder, and most roads do have a hard surface, so that will not cause a problem. I did add 15 cm of topsoil to my garden though, after a year where sparrows would bathe in my lawn through the whole year. One of those years that farmers can't work their fields.
So far, this year had not been too wet. But it had been bloody cold. Some crops need to be resown and I hope most orchards will have managed to protect the blossoms of the trees from freezing whith spraying water. Or new apples and pears will be very expensive this year.
