not quite determined...not quite capable...but somewhere in between brave and cautiously onward. Thats how I feel.
Can't you guys even just imagine it?

What is keeping you from sleeping?

I'm pretty good. Had two exceptionally good nights. But I do dream weird stuff.

I think I wrote about it in another thread, can't remember where though.

We spent the night in the ER with the daughter because of a suspected appendicitis. It took forever before the doctor actually took a look (we think this was deliberate because they wanted to observe her) and admitted her. The good news is that she probably won't need surgery.

Any chance of taking a nap during the day for you?

I'm at the hospital now, so not really. Maybe later. She is getting some sleep now, though, which is a good thing.

They won't operate? So ti wasn't appendicitis after all?

When I had appendicitis it resealed itself so I didn't need surgery right away...they put me on antibiotics and I came back a month later for the surgery.

They say that this one healed by itself but it might reoccur. She's back home now.

I have never heard that appendicitis can be resolved with antibiotics. It has always been surgery and was in my case when I was 23.

They should just take it out. The surgery is minor...its better to do it when its under control than to wait for it to rupture again...in which case the surgery would be more risky, and the sepsis would threaten her life.
