Sore. My left elbow hurts. No idea why, its right at the back of the inner side edge of the joint, which for some reason has of late, been sticking and catching. It did something pretty uncomfortable yesterday, had that odd sensation you get when you need to 'pop' a joint and make it crack, but couldn't, as it hurt like hell to fully extend the joint. Without stretching it to crack the joint it wasn't hurting, but odd-feeling and definitely uncomfortable. Eventually ended up taking painkillers and forcibly putting my elbow in a position that stressed it and half tensing the muscles there half forcing forward without moving it, which eventually managed to get the little bugger back to how its meant to be with a crunching, crackling noise and sensation until finally it felt like it 'popped' and snapped back into its rightful alignment. Not much fun, to say the least but once done, my elbow stopped hurting when straightening my arm, and stayed sorted, after the dose of morphine used to allow me to force it back into alignment in a manageable enough way to see it through and push past the pain barrier had worn off my elbow still stayed pain free. Until now, when its been twinging way too much for my liking, but unlike yesterday doesn't have that sensation of....wrongness and of being somehow misaligned or out of place.
Other joints have been giving me grief lately too, although I suspect in one case its not the joint itself, but muscular due to the excess muscle stiffness, tension and cramping that I'm stuck with due to the nerve damage that affects my calf. Because on that same side I've been having some really painful at times spasm in my toes, where its been hard enough to make them clench and curl under themselves, making me have to stand and push down hard with my foot to force them to stretch back out again and keep them in the normal flat position. Or to temporarily splint and immobilize the little fuckers.
