I had never heard the word "disfancy" before, but it appears to be a real word that means "to dislike."

Nah, that's a silly pun of course but on the subject of English.. could one of you recommend a nice book/novel for me to read? Let's say, one that's on a proper literature list written by a good author.

I was thinking about buying David Copperfield by Dickens but that one is kinda old. Dunno.. but what is a book you really enjoyed reading/that impressed you?

oh, I'm a good person to ask this...

I personally love Hemingway. "the sun also rises" is my fav, but " a farewell to arms" is probably his best - award winning. I also fancy anything by John Irving, like "the hotel new hampshire " or "the cider house rules". And "catcher in the rye" by JD Salinger is also a favorite.
