My in-laws went through some tough times, they had to send their son and daughter to live with grandparents.  They had to ate oatmeal for breakfast and dinner, nothing for lunch.

Making soup:  Mince, onion soup mix, frozen soup veggies.  Will add some leftover rice.  The weather has been a bit chilly lately and this may be one of the last times for soup.
